On March 30, 2022, the Dubai Youth Council hosted "An Hour with the Cleaner Initiative" on Deira Island. This event drew around 100 students from various schools.

Even though it was their spring break, secondary students from The Westminster School in Dubai participated to this cause with incomparable passion. Students were instructed to gather four categories of recyclable garbage (packages, bags, plastics/containers, metal materials/papers, and cardboard/wood) at the site, which were then sorted and recycled entirely.  

The event was undoubtedly beneficial to TWS students and yet again displayed the spirit of our school, which is rooted on a strong commitment in environmental conservation and sustainability.
