We believe that natural resources are best protected when students play an active role in their care and management. Come, let us embrace social responsibility and do our bit to protect the environment.

Green Pot Initiative 2021 was a great step towards reducing carbon footprint and another stride towards building a sustainable environment in the school. This initiative gave an opportunity to all the students from FS to Year 13 to use any recycled material to plant a pot and donate it to the School. Maximum students participated in this great initiative with dedication and donated their plants to the school along with the filled in questionnaire about their project. Even the teacher community took pride in planting trees not only in their houses and also contributed for the school.

ENCOURAGING ALL TO JOIN

The 'Green Pot’ project is just one of the many initiatives that the students have undertaken to ensure our school becomes more sustainable. This initiative was designed to plant seeds of hope in young people's minds, spread positivity and raise eco-awareness. Natural resources are best protected when students play an active role in their care and management. As a part of this initiative, students were asked to make a pot using recycled materials, plant a seed, and record its growth of the plant on the tracker shared with them.

Green Pot Initiative 2021, gives all students from FS – Year 13 the opportunity to use a recycled material to plant a pot. They must keep a record of pictures/videos and take notes about the plant’s progress. The best submissions will be selected and featured in the Green Journal. Students are then encouraged to donate their plant saplings to TWS restoration project with your personal message to the community. This initiative is designed to plant seeds of hope in young people’s mind, spread positivity and raise eco-awareness.

The results of this initiative were wonderful as many of the students actively participated in the project.
